Pastor Ken Brown is a graduate of Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently enrolled in the doctoral program at Westminster Theological Seminary. He served for nine years as Associate Pastor at Huron Baptist Church in Flat Rock, MI. In 2001, HBC commissioned Pastor Brown to lead a church-plant team in establishing a new work in Huron Township. He serves with his wife, Kimberly, and their two daughters Elayna and Anna.
Larry and Julie Castle, with their daughters Emma, Claire, and Susannah, have come to Community Baptist Church from Inter-City Baptist Church in Allen Park, MI where Larry and Julie served in childrens and youth ministries for eleven years. Larry serves as Assistant to the Pastor. Larry and Julie serve together in the childrens and youth ministries of CBC.
Rich and Tracy Carrico had been faithful members of Huron Baptist Church for fifteen years when the church commissioned them to assist in the establishment of CBC. They bring a variety of gifts to Community. Rich is the chairman of the deacons as well as the church treasurer, and Tracy uses her many talents in a number of areas. They serve with their two children, Jessica, and Nicholas.
